Alan served as a Radar Operator from the 29th January 1951 to the 24th July 1952 doing his National Service and has sent us some unique photographs , the first three being taken at the Down Lane domestic site, showing the AOC's parade in 1952. Next are two NIgh postcards of the time followed by the RAF cricket team for 1952 and finally Alan's group enjoying the beach.
