- Stenbury Down VHF Tower -

This is one of the two towers required for the VHF Communication system between the Radar Controller and pilot as used in a Ground Controlled Interception (GCI) system in use in the nineteen fifties. Fifty years later it still survives performing some other communications function. It is situated at the top of Stenbury Down near Ventnor.
